Strategic CMO Course Integration Workshop to Tackle Disinformation and Malign Influence

CAMP AGUINALDO (May 27-29, 2025) — The Chief of the Psychological Operations Division of the OJ7, Col. Jo-ar Herrera, led the Strategic CMO Course Integration workshop at Bulwagang Reyes, CRSAFP in this camp. This comprehensive workshop is aimed at participants from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), and other relevant agencies. It is structured to sharpen the analytical abilities of the attendees and deepen their grasp of crafting plans and tactics to counter Malign Influence Operations and the United Front Works. The workshop delves into the meticulous examination of propaganda and counter-propaganda, equipping the participants with the essential skills to effectively combat disinformation and fake news.

This workshop plays a crucial role in strengthening national security and enhancing strategic communication capabilities within key public and academic institutions. Through collaborative learning, participants work together to devise practical strategies to navigate the intricate landscape of information warfare.
