PH Navy dons rank to PCSD Executive Director as new reserve officer

 

NAVAL STATION JOSE ANDRADA, Manila — The Philippine Navy conducted a Donning of Ranks Ceremony to Commander Teodoro Jose S Matta PN(MNSA)(Res) as a newly commissioned reserve officer, presided over by Vice Admiral Jose Ma Ambrosio Q Ezpeleta PN, Flag Officer In Command, Philippine Navy on February 17, 2025  at the Navy Headquarters in Manila.

Commander Matta PN(MNSA)(Res) is a distinguished leader who serves as the Executive Director of the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development (PCSD), where he plays a crucial role in balancing environmental stewardship with responsible governance, aligning with national security and economic objectives. With legal expertise and extensive experience in law and government service since 1999, he has been instrumental in promoting sustainable development and protecting the country’s vast marine resources.

“As the PN continues to pursue transformation into becoming a modern and multi-capable force, we are confident that he will lead by example and reflect a beacon of hope by inspiring others to commit to serving our nation with the same passion and honor that he has consistently demonstrated throughout his career. We look forward to working with Cdr.
