PH Navy demonstrates Spike NLOS Capability to Protect Philippine Waters
The Philippine Navy successfully demonstrated its Spike Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) missile system on September 9, 2025, west of San Antonio in Zambales, marking another milestone in the Navy’s modernization.
Witnessed by RAdm Alan M Javier PN, Chief of Naval Staff and Acting Flag Officer In Command, the Philippine Navy made history as an AW159 anti-submarine helicopter launched a Spike NLOS missile from the air for the first time, while BRP TOMAS CAMPO (PG-908) fired another from the sea.
