PALS 2025 Opens in the Philippines, Uniting Indo-Pacific Amphibious Forces
The first-ever Pacific Amphibious Leaders Symposium 2025 (PALS 25) hosted in the Philippines officially opened on July 8 at Shangri-La The Fort, Bonifacio Global City. The ceremony was led by Secretary of National Defense Atty. Gilberto C. Teodoro Jr. and Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr.
Co-hosted by the Philippine Marine Corps and the United States Marine Forces Pacific, this year’s symposium carries the theme “Stronger Together,” bringing together senior leaders from 23 nations: Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, France, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Maldives, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Sri-Lanka, Thailand, Timor Leste, United Kingdom, United States, and South Korea.
