Army Personnel Wins US Shooting Competition Championship

FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City – The Philippine Army recognized Maj. Leonard O. Lopez for his remarkable victory at the USA Extreme Open 2025, where he clinched the championship in the Classic and the Shoot-off Classic Division during the flag-raising ceremony at Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, on February 10, 2025.

The USA Extreme Open, an internationally recognized shooting competition, was held from January 30 to February 1, 2025, at the Volusia County Gun Club Shooting Range in Florida, USA. Maj. Lopez’s outstanding performance in this prestigious competition highlights the caliber of the Philippine Army’s personnel's combat and warfighting capabilities and their dedication to excellence.
