Army in CALABARZON joins West Philippine Sea Symposium to empower youth

CAVINTI, LAGUNA – On March 19, 2025, the CALABARZON Army participated in the West Philippine Sea Symposium at the Jose Rizal Coliseum, Calamba City, Laguna, organized by the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) CALABARZON in partnership with the National Task Force for the West Philippine Sea (NTF-WPS).

CAVINTI, LAGUNA – On March 19, 2025, the CALABARZON Army participated in the West Philippine Sea Symposium at the Jose Rizal Coliseum, Calamba City, Laguna, organized by the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) CALABARZON in partnership with the National Task Force for the West Philippine Sea (NTF-WPS).
The event brought together around 500 students, youth leaders, and ROTC cadets, guided by Lt. Col. Robby Taclob, Director of the 403rd (Laguna) Community Defense Center, 4RCDG, RESCOM. It provided a platform for the youth to gain a deeper understanding of the government’s efforts to secure the nation's sovereignty in the West Philippine Sea.
Expert speakers discussed critical issues such as national security, economic impact, and the importance of international maritime laws, fostering patriotism and national pride. The Army’s participation highlights its commitment to promoting civic responsibility and unity among the youth in safeguarding the country’s interests.
