AFP expands WPS campaign to logistics sector
STA ROSA, LAGUNA, May 6, 2025 — In support of the government’s whole-of-nation approach in addressing the West Philippine Sea (WPS) issue, the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Civil-Military Operations, J7, conducted an advocacy engagement with Inland Corporation and ADR Holdings Corporation at the Inland Warehousing and Logistics Division in Laguna Technopark, Sta. Rosa City, Laguna.
Amid China’s sweeping and unlawful claims over Philippine maritime waters, Colonel Jo-ar A. Herrera PA underscored it is the duty of every Filipino to protect what is ours. “This is about existential threat, this is about our survival, our security, and stability,” he stated.

Strategically located at the heart of regional trade routes, the Philippines holds significant geopolitical value—not only in terms of defense, but also for economic and logistical operations. As a company specializing in logistics services, the discussion regarding maritime and archipelagic matters were particularly relevant to Inland’s operations.

At the end of the engagement, Inland expressed strong interest in exploring potential partnerships with the military. Possible areas of collaboration include the transportation of critical military assets, logistics support for maritime exercises, emergency logistics, and national contingency operations.
